Under general supervision the IT Director, the GIS Analyst fills map and data requests adhering to data quality standards. Processes, edits, and maintains geospatial data in an enterprise GIS environment. Conducts geospatial analysis using specialized software. Develops, maintains, and provide application support for web mapping applications. Functions in a team environment. This position exercises no supervision.

Work requires possession of a bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Computer Science, Data Analysis related field, and three (3) years’ experience as a GIS Technician, GIS Analyst or similar position, or any equivalent combination of education and experience and the following:
