JMT Technology Group, a leading geospatial, software, and information technology solutions provider, is looking for an Asset Management Coordinator - Data Coordinator to join our Team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing multiple projects, experience in building relationships at all levels, and familiarity with asset management in a government setting.  

Compensation for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Essential functions and responsibilities

  • Provide program management and task coordination services for a variety of asset management initiatives
  • Collect and organize asset inventory data for integration into the agency-selected software from quarterly AM inventory reviews with the client
  • Extraction of conditional ratings data from inspection reports for Agency selected software assimilation 
  • Assistance with data collection from long-term planning initiatives 
  • Collaboration with transit agency Asset Owners to acquire asset data
  • Site visits to various facilities as needed 
  • Meet with stakeholders to understand business challenges and requirements
  • Support the development of asset management plans and programs
  • Support asset management data analysis, interpretation, and visualization 
  • Support data governance efforts for transportation and infrastructure assets 
  • Prepare presentations and other supporting materials as requested 
  • Effectively present, communicate and articulate technical information to all levels of the organization, including customers, colleagues, and senior leadership

Required Skills

  • Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and quickly develop trust in all levels of an organization 
  • Ability to communicate and work collaboratively and effectively with project team members and customers
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience writing technical documentation and preparing and providing presentations in public and project settings
  • Must be able to travel to client sites as well as to other JMT office locations and domestic travel for industry events as needed

Preferred Skills

  • Demonstrated knowledge of business models and processes of transportation and government organizations 
  • Familiarity with asset lifecycles, including but not limited to transit assets 
  • Familiarity with national transportation asset management requirements, practices and standards 
  • Demonstrated experience establishing or managing asset management programs for government customers 
  • A breadth of knowledge in scheduling, software requirements, and understanding of public sector infrastructure environments
  • Experience with computer programs such as ProjectWise, Maximo, and Optram 

 

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in planning, business, public administration, engineering, or related field 
  • 0-2 years of project management experience 
  • 1+ years providing consulting services for government clients

Preferred Experience

  • 1+ years of experience leading projects related to the delivery and execution of asset management solutions
