What You’ll Bring
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Natural Sciences, or related field. Or equivalent experience.
4+ years of professional experience with Esri’s ArcGIS suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS 10x).
Proven leadership in managing GIS projects, budgets, and team workloads.
Advanced skills in geospatial data management, SQL enterprise geodatabases, and workflow design.
Expertise in Python scripting and ModelBuilder for custom geoprocessing tools.
Strong communication skills and a keen eye for visual presentation in maps and reports.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Preferred
Master’s degree or GISP certification.
6+ years of applied GIS experience.
Experience with linear energy or transportation projects, including route calibration and map series.
Proficiency in Python, R, Arcade, or other scripting languages.
Advanced ArcGIS Pro production experience and custom tool development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver GIS solutions that meet client needs.
Plan, design, and manage complex geospatial projects from inception to completion.
Develop and maintain ArcGIS web services and applications.
Integrate diverse data formats (CAD, LiDAR, KML/KMZ) into cohesive geospatial workflows.
Deploy field data collection systems using Trimble GPS and Esri mobile apps.
Innovate by exploring emerging technologies and improving existing GIS methodologies.
Serve as a technical resource for troubleshooting and optimizing GIS infrastructure.

For the Managing Technical Consultant, Geospatial Scientist position, the anticipated annual base pay is $91,185 – $112,188 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, AD&D insurance, 401(k) or RRSP/DPSP, and other applicable benefits to eligible employees.
