The Ideal Candidate will have:
Bachelor¿s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Planning, Geology, Cartography, Urban Studies, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Computer Science and our (4)years of experience in geospatial data management. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
The Ideal Candidate will have experience/knowledge in the following:
- Advanced level proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS.
- Strong command of cadastral and parcel-based GIS systems.
- Advanced experience with:
- Parcel fabric, parcel maintenance, and topology rules.
- Boundary layers (county, municipal, school districts, special districts).
- Spatial joins, overlays, and complex geoprocessing workflows.
- Experience designing and maintaining enterprise geodatabases.
- Strong understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and spatial accuracy standards.
